Directions
Did you every wonder how to get where we wheel? Now you do not have to wonder anymore. Below you will find a rough set of directions and JPG image of a map with the route marked that will get you to the location specified.
Elbe Hills ORV
There are two routes marked on the map. The first one is marked in yellow and starts on I5 in Tacoma. The second is marked in red and starts on I405 in Tukwila. Where the two meet the route turns blue for the rest of the hardtop driving. Where it turns red again represents the gravel road to the ORV park.
- From I5 in Tacoma head east on SR512
- Look for the exit to SR161 and head south on SR161
- From I405 in Tukwila head south on SR167
- Look for the exit to SR161 and head south on SR161
- Continue to travel south SR161 until you get to Eatonville
- In Eatonville you will want to go east on Center St E which turns into Alder Cutoff Rd E
- Continue on Alder Cutoff Rd E until you get to SR7
- Go East on SR7 and through the town of Elbe to SR706
- Go East on SR706 for about 6 miles to 278th Ave E
- Turn north on 278th Ave E and drive up the gravel road to the ORV park

Walker Valley ORV
- From I-5 take exit 221
- Go east on SR 534 for 5 miles
- Turn left on SR9
- Drive north for 6 miles (milepost 46) and turn right onto Walker Valley Road
- Go 2 miles on Walker Valley Road and turn right onto Peter Burns Road (one lane gravel road)
- After about a mile on Peter Burns Road you will see the parking area on the right

Moses Lake Sand Dunes - Grant County ORV
There are two ways to get to the area where the Tamers Camp. This first uses over a rutted gravel road that can take a while depending on what kind of rig you are driving. This is the West route. The second is a little out of the way but is paved road most of the way with only the last mile on a gravel road. This is the East route. You will find the directions for both routes below.
West Route
- From Seattle head East on I-90 towards Moses Lake
- Take Exit 174 and stay left heading east on Westlake St
- At the first intersection take a right heading south on Montana St
- At the next intersection go stright south onto South Sand Dunes Rd. Watch your speed the limit is 25 MPH
- You will go through a housing development and then the road will turn into gravel. Keep going down around the south end of the lake.
- When you are going up the biggest hill from the lake you will be getting close to where the Tamers camp on the right (south side) of the road.
- If you get to the blacktop then you have gone to far
- Shout out on Channel 4 if you are having trouble spotting people
East Route
- From Seattle head East on I-90 towards Moses Lake
- Take Exit 179 and head North on SR17
- Travel north for about a half mile and turn left onto Yonezawa Rd
- Head west on Yonezawa Rd for about 1.5 miles and then turn left on Division St
- Go south on Division St over the interstate
- On the other side of the interstate it will turn into Potatoe Hill Road NE and you will keep heading south
- Keep heading south on Potato Hill Rd NE. It will turn into South Sand Dunes Rd and head in towards the south west
- When the road turns in to gravel you will be less than a mile from where the Tamers camp on the left side (south side) of the road
- If you go down a big hill towards the lake then you have gone to far
- Shout out on Channel 4 if you are having trouble spotting people
Taneum Creek
From Seattle
- Head East on I90
- Cle Elum is the last good chance for gas so fill up then get back on I90 heading east
- Take Exit 93 to get off I90
- Head left back over I90
- Take a right on to Thorp Prairie Road heading East
- Thorp Prairie Road is narrow and twisty so take it easy
- When you get to Taneum Rd take a right and go over I90 again
- At the stop sign take a right heading north west on Taneum Rd W and go for 6.7 miles
- You will go past the Taneum Campground and then at 6.7 miles you will see a little road to the left going into a small dry camp area. Your there.

Liberty
From Seattle
- Head East on I90
- Take Exit 84 into Cle Elum
- If you need gas or groceries do it now as Cle Elum is the last chance
- Go stright through town on 1st St E (also known as HWY 930)
- At the edge of town the road will turn into Hwy 970 and you want to head for Blewett Pass and Wenatchee.
- About 13 mi from the edge of town you need to turn off the
HWY on to Liberty Road.
- Look for the signs as you come up on it quick on a curve.
- Go about 3/4 of a mile and turn right onto FS Rd 9726 (Red
Top Road ?)
- You will be able to see the FS 9726 road go down across the creek and the campground on the right.
- After you go over the creek take the first right onto the
campground road.
- We try to camp in the first meadow if there is room.
