Attending this little jaunt was KarlVP, GaryTJ, Tom-Tom, Attitude (Penny), and a couple new to the area, Brandon and Roxanne.
We started off by going up and playing under the power lines heading up to the Wall area.
Nothing unusual except for a new buggy belonging to Bunk on the NW Wheelers BBS playing along the way.
The View from the wall was perfect. Crystal clear and lots of snow on the surrounding mountains.
We dropped down from there and started up BYS Trail and it turned Nasty real quick. Karlvp tore his rear driveline yoke apart. I had spare parts to fix it. We went a bit more and it turned real nasty. Tom-Tom buried the front end in a hole that looked about a foot deep and we decided to turn tail and run. We will come back another day to play again.
We went back to Isabelle and cover some garbage dumping stuff that the DNR was going to have to excavate and then headed up the trail. Karlvp was leading and when we came to the rocky hillclimb in the middle, he bounced a bit and tore the driveline apart again, This time, with no more spare parts, we decided to turn around and head out and play another day.
Just a fun day of wheeling…
