Robinson Invitational (Red Eye) Nov 2013

The Robinson Invitational (Red Eye Run) is a run starting Friday evening from Enumclaw. From there the group heads up to FS Road 70 to the Naches Trail. They then run the entire trail over to Naches and run up through there towards Ellensburg via the Manashtash area.

I was not on the run but I heard that before Mark even got to FS 70 he lost a u-joint in the rear driveline and had to fix it on the side of the road. After that Perry discovered a nail in his tire and put a plug in it to keep going. He had so much fun doing this that he plugged the tire twice more after plugs came out of the tire. Finally the spare was thrown on to make it the rest of the way through the run.

There was a bit of snow on the trail and while it did not get close to the record totals it make things interesting for sure though not to mention the cold that came along with the snow.
