Swap Meet and Evans Night Run Mar 2008

Hey, we had to be there for the swap meet so why not get a run also!

There was a little snow on the gravel road up to the park and by the time we got to the bottom of 311a there was 6 inches to a foot of snow on the ground. We stopped here to air down and BS a little before hitting the trails. It was at this point that Mark discovered he was having fuel problems. So while Mark was under his rig trying to figure out the problem, we all stood around and offered advice. Eventually Mark was able to get it running, but not good enough for the trail, so Mark, John, and Doug headed back down to the trailer. The rest of us took off up the 311a and into the campground. Most of the pictures are from the camp ground and show how much snow there was. There was good crust on top of the snow so you could go just about any where you wanted to so long as you were brave enough with the tire gauge. We tried to do the 311b but no one had broken trail there and we would have been late to the swap meet if we had not decided to turn around. As it was we got back to the house in time to eek out about 3 hours of sleep before having to head out for the swap meet. Ah what fun it was.
