Come about April the Tamers are all suffering from cabin fever and a little camping trip to the sand dunes at Moses Lake is just the prescription needed. Continue reading “Moses Lake Apr 2008”
Elbe Work Party Apr 2008
A little more than a year ago the Tamers adopted a trail at the Elbe Hills ORV Area, and we have re-upped that commitment for 2008. As such we need to run the adopted trail every two months looking for needed reapirs and address the issue we find. Continue reading “Elbe Work Party Apr 2008”
Walker Valley Work Party Apr 2008
Last year the Tamers committed to the DNR that they would commit to volunteering 200 hours towards the Walker Valley ORV area. The commitment helped to secure two grants providing funds for the improvement of the Walker Valley ORV area. This work party was the first opportunity for the Tamers to make good on the promise and we put a dent in the commitment. Continue reading “Walker Valley Work Party Apr 2008”
It is only Tahuya Mar 2008
What can you say about Tahuya, it’s Tahuya. We all met in the QFC parking lot in Belfair around 9:00 AM (not adjusted for Tamer Time). It was a pretty nice day all said as the weather was decent with a little sun. Continue reading “It is only Tahuya Mar 2008”

Hey, we had to be there for the swap meet so why not get a run also!
There was a little snow on the gravel road up to the park and by the time we got to the bottom of 311a there was 6 inches to a foot of snow on the ground. We stopped here to air down and BS a little before hitting the trails. Continue reading “Swap Meet and Evans Night Run Mar 2008”

Denny Creek Jan 2008
The world offers opportunities for a new experience every day. Like – I’m going wheeling at Denny Creek. (Well – that isn’t so new.)
Okay – I’m towing Moosenstein to Denny Creek. (Been there, done that. Many times.)
Okay – how ‘bout – I’m towing Moosenstein to Denny Creek behind Ol’ Blew – the 37 year old Montana style Ford pickup truck with the non-power drum all-around brakes, bicycle skinny tires and the Armstrong steering. (Oh – okay. THIS oughta be interesting.) Continue reading “Denny Creek Jan 2008”
Hangover Run Jan 2008
Another day of playing in the snow! We even got to see Stumpy again! (great to see you out and about!) It was a great day with no problems and no breakage and we did not stop until the snow was over 7 feet deep. Continue reading “Hangover Run Jan 2008”
