Iron Goat Dec 2015
A few of use had to get away from things and decided to visit Iron Goat in search of some un tracked snow. We found it but conditions were not great so we did not make very many tracks in the fresh stuff. Even on 42″ tires Chad was not able to get on top of the snow and had to fight really hard for each foot of travel. We still managed to have fun which is easy to do when you are with good friends. Christmas Tree Run Dec 2015
Some of us started the day at 6:45 am (yikes) at Everett Mall, to give NW Harvest our collected donation, and some food items. Although it was very early for some of us, there were 8 rigs there, well, 7 and an anonymous FJ that didn’t want to go through the Parade, as he is really a Jeep owner…and didn’t want to be seen driving a Yoter. Walker Valley ORV Nov 2015
The Tamers met at Walker for a late start Sunday run. It was a very crisp, cold morning at 27 degrees. Frost covered most of everything. We had a large turn out with over 20 rigs over half of which were female drivers. We also had many new wheelers one of which was just 16. We split the group up between newer drivers and those who have more experience. Walker Valley April 2015
It was an hour before wheelin’ and all through the lot, rigs were pulling in, and airing down what they brought. TT Flags were hung, from antennas with care, in hopes that the trails soon would beware.

Run to Tahuya March 2015
It wasn’t quite planes, trains and automobiles – but it was ferries and four wheel drives. As Auto-M and I pulled up in her TJ to catch the 7:55 ferry at Edmonds – we already saw Jerry in his TJ and our friends in a Cherokee from Sno Co Crawlers in line. Along with Michael in his Cherokee – and Rick and Jennifer in theirs a few rigs behind us in line – all poised to cross the water for what appeared would be a stormy day of wheeling in Tahuya. Walker Valley Dec 2014
As always, a great day to go wheelin’! We met at the south lot of Walker Valley, Gary and I, Jerry Marsh and Phil, Josh Wilcox, candidate Ron Mader, Mark McLaughlin and FIL, Trish and Tammy King, Erich Tibbitts and Sean Wolk in the Wonder Bread Samurai! While waiting for Trish and Tammy to pull in with our breakfast, there was a lost looking gentleman with a friend and a bunch of kids. Since he seemed to be studying the map on the board, I offered him a map, and asked if he’d like to join us. He and his crew thanked us, and tagged along. Educated him a bit about the Timer Tamers and gave him a card to check out the club. They were in a silver jeep. NW Harvest Donation and Christmas Tree Run Dec 2014
So the first weekend of each December the Timber Tamers get together for a Christmas Tree run where some members who have obtained permits from the US Forest Service will harvest a Christmas Tree. However before we do this there is the delivery of the Annual Club Donation to the NW Harvest Food Drive hosted by a Local broadcast station.
